Convening

The Lived Experience Collective Convening is an annual event that brings together survivors and LEC participants from across the globe to learn from one another and set their changemaking intentions for the coming year. This important community event and conference includes speakers and workshops designed to foster community, networking, self-growth and advocacy strategies. The Lived Experience Collective Convening takes place in October/November in odd years, and in partnership with the Pan-American Conference of the International Association for Suicide Prevention in even years. Lived Experience Collective participants are invited to participate in the program advisory committee, which meets quarterly throughout the year. Committee members provide guidance on event programming and speakers, and assist in connecting with sponsors and communtiy partners. To join the committee, please email us at info@unitesurvivors.org.
